One of my employees just got accepted into the US Army. I made this 8 x 8 card for everyone to sign for her. Needless to say, she started crying. She will be missed but I'm proud of her trying to improve her life for her and her family.
The front is our company logo and army boot imprints.
I had a little fun with the inside. I glittered up the helmet, knee straps and boot toes.
There is a Message Board on the back of the card as well. I did the entire card with my Silhouette Design Studio software.
When your God Neice asks you to make a card for her boyfriend, what do you do? You make the dang card! 😃 Card In The Box cards are my least favorite cards to make because they require too many elements. They challenge your creativity for sure!
Back side. Blank heart for note/signature
Folded flat to fit in envelope
Supplies used: The Key - Little B stickers from Tuesday Morning
EK Success Scallop Border Punch
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Love is in the Air
Cardstock is K&Company - Kelly Panacci Specialty Paper
I didn't make a card last year for my husband and I kinda got the side eye 😏. I put forth a little more effort this year. This cute little card is from the Silhouette Design Store. It's a Z-fold card. See below for it opened. I hope he likes it.
This card is for a friend of mine who underwent major surgery. I wanted to let her know that I'm thinking of her.
I used a stamp that I got during the Hobby Lobby big clearance sale. It's a little crooked because I unmounted it and I thought I had it lined up correctly.
One of the things I like about my new job is that I get to use my crafty skills for Health Fairs. This was made for a Health and Fitness Health Fair at one of the local middle schools that we partner with. For the tri-fold board, I used printable vinyl , regular vinyl and cardstock. The "My Plate" is made with a charger plate and vinyl.
The Sugar content for each drink will be added before the Fair. We haven't measured it at this time.
I've been working a lot of hours lately at my new job. It doesn't give me much time to do what I love but I'm vowing to keep my blog going. With that being said, the doctor I work for recently had open heart surgery. Her favorite color is purple and almost eveything in our office is purple including our logo. I made this 8 x8 card booklet for her. I printed the first two insides sheet on vellum. I love how it turned out. The last page is a message page for the staff to send their well wishes.
I took this picture to show how pretty the vellum printed
It lays flat like any other card and is about 1/2 inch high with the flowers.
I made a box to carry it in.
Supplies used: Hero Arts "Prayers" stamp set. I used the die part of the set.
